Implant Restoratives
Implants and implant restoratives can replace a missing tooth or missing teeth.
Benefit and Description: A dental implant is an artificial tooth root. Your jawbone fuses with the implant to provide a secure platform for prosthesis (artificial tooth). If you are missing many teeth, several implants can be used to support a partial or complete denture. Implant treatment involves coordinated appointments between an oral surgeon who places the implant and Dr. Jones who places the implant restorative.
Treatment: Throughout the implant process you'll work closely with a dental team. The surgeon prepares your jaw and surgically places the implant. The restorative dentist will build and adjust the custom prostheses.
Problem Area Corrections: To replace a missing tooth or teeth causing problems with normal function and prevent the loss of jawbone or the superuption of the opposing teeth.
